Hi! My name is Rimsha Qazi, and I’m 21 years old. My birthday is celebrated every March 17th. I was a little disappointed when I moved to Canada and found out that my friends weren’t really celebrating my birthday; it was St. Patrick’s Day. But I’ve forgiven and forgotten, or maybe not.
This is going to be a brief post on what my blog is really about.
I discovered the art of journal at the age of six, and ever since then, I would spend at least an hour daily, writing everything that went in my chaotic mind whether that was “Refrainment of Human Rights” or a page soaked with tears that read “My school hates me!” For me, this blog is going to be a free space just like my journal was once to me. I want to have the freedom here to share anything I want, be it my writings, the photos that I capture, what’s on my mind that’s worth telling, my personal opinions and hear yours along. I love traveling around this enchanting place we call earth, so do expect me to share my adventures and experiences as well.
Before wrapping up my post, I want to point out that I would really appreciate tolerance on my blog. We’re different, and so are our opinions. A close friend of mine frequently signifies John Wesley’s wise phrase, “Agree to disagree”. There’s no point of arguing, so why not just live in peace and accept each other? However, if tolerance isn’t your skill, my blog is definitely not for you.
I’ll end my post with a very cliché line; thank you for taking time to read my very first post, and I hope you enjoyed it.
